In Thailand grasshopper(jing leed) is a popular snack loved by the locals it is prepared when a big old grasshopper is seasoned with salt, pepper powder, and chili and fried, in the end, it tastes like popcorn real popcorn! and some squirt out a little juice when you bite into it

They have various health benefits that include high concentration vitamins, B and C,highly proteinous,there protein levels are higher than those in milk and fish you can imagine that! they provide more energy than wheat, they are a rich source of magnesium, calcium, and zinc and are rich in fiber.

WASP CRACKERS

Yeah, you got it right, these are biscuits filled with wasps! just imagine the chocolate chip cookies, but the insects replace the chips, The wasp hunters lay traps to catch them, they are then boiled in water and dried, they are later added to rice cracker mix, the mixture is then stamped in a hot cracker cutter.

They are highly proteinous

SNAKE SOUP

      SNAKE SOUP

I know, right when you think of a snake you are scared and you want to run, but imagine the opposite when you see it you want to grab it and take it home because of the delicious soup it makes! yes this is according to some people in China and some parts of Asia, where different snakes can be used and the soup made in accordance with the customers choice of snake, preferred snakes are the python and water snakes

       It is cooked for a period of 6 hours, the meat and bones are shredded and infused with ingredients like mushrooms, chopped ginger, lemongrass, herbs, and spices to flavor the broth, this tastes like chicken but a bit tougher, the soup is mainly consumed in winter

Medicinal value: it is known to cure arthritis, good for circulation and skin
